• Works with EC2, EBS, EFS, FSx for Lustre, FSx for Windows Server, and AWS Storage Gateway
• It can include other services as well like RDS and DynamoDB, or Organizations
  • Used to backup AWS accounts across the entire organization (only the services in the accounts)
• You get centralized management of all backups
• You can also create automated backup and retention policies
